Discussing this tread offboard, this item came up. Its getting close to what i'm looking for, although it requires a laptop (instead of all in one), and maybe doesn't have all the mixing features i was imagining. Has anybody used these yet? http://www.idjnow.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=PROMIX&SRCH_DESCRIPTION=mp3&SRCH _MANUFACTURER=&SRCH_ID=&SRCH_CATEGORY=&PageNo=1&RowCount=2 --- WRECKED diy electronics http://rhinoplex.org/wrecked ----- Original Message ----- From: <david.knight@schenkerusa.com> To: <cutup@andythepooh.com>; <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, March 10, 2003 6:32 PM Subject: RE: [idm] harddisk dj mixing I believe that you are describing the future of music production. I have considered similar tools and discussed with friends over recent years. I think it is only a matter of time before it happens along the lines of your conjecture. I also want wireless MIDI fingerpads for dashboard drumming style percussion....
