My goodness, did you just say that sprinkler systems are stupid? These clubs should be equipped with this sort of crap already. Few other businesses are able to get away with it, so why should nightclubs be excepted? All modern movie theaters, even retrofitted ones, have clearly marked, easy to access exits in case something happens, and a good sprinkler system to protect from fires. And the row system implemented in theaters is MUCH worse in panic situations than a rather open nightclub. If any other public facility was operating in the manner that this nightclub was, they'd be shut down or fined heavily. The nightclub chose to disregard the rules, and now people are dead. Sounds like the owners have the problem, not the government. ------- eggytoast.com ------- coming soon: eggtastic.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
