I'm sure we could all come up with a list, but I'm not sure sexual
orientation is a real measure of musicians. As for gay IDM clubs in NYC,
err... I don't live there, but the few venues I know about where IDM-esque
music would be heard on a regular basis -- Polar Bear Club, Halcyon and ...
aren't really sexual-orientation specific.
Besides, maybe it's just my anecdotal experience, but gay clubs are in general
about dancing and drinking and recreational substance abuse not about
chinstroking to electronic music.
If you do hear about any, let me know and I'll check them out the next time
I get my fat breeder ass back to the city ...
