always liked the different stuff on Warp but after hearing all this crap
about dropping (and wanting too) really wonderful bands just because they
dont have a sound like Autechre or Squarepusher, I am really beginning to
hate the label. I thought they were better than that, but I guess they are
just like any other asshole record label
Just to play devil's advocate for a minute-
Just because you like a certain band, doesn't mean that everybody does. And
just because a label drops some band you like doesn't mean you should hate
that label, and certainly doesn't mean that they are assholes.
Perhaps the guys at Warp still liked Plone, but maybe it just wasn't
economically feasible or sensible to put out another record for them with
all the other stuff they put out.
