De-lurking here For the past year, I have ripped nothing but .oggs. Anything that I encode to send to friends, or for my own personal collection, is in ogg. The sound quality is great, but then so are a lot of MP3s. What I like the most is that the way the data is structured is mucu better. The tags (like ID3) are much more flexible, and there is nopost-frame gap like a lot of MP3s have. Winamp ships with an ogg plugin, and so do a lot of other popular audio players.
