Ya, I went to the first two on Sunday- Cinema Electronica and the Chris Cunningham retrospective. It's the same thing with compilations cds- some of the stuff I was really impressed with, others I was like 'how exactly did this make the cut?' I don't know why I expected differently, but the sound system left much to be desired. Why would anybody organize such an event only to use the in-house speaker system with no lows, no highs, all mid-range honk and very little stereo seperation? Flex was great. Neat dark/ambient/noise track with that one, too. First time I had seen Windowlicker and Come to Daddy.
