didn.t you realize that Intelligent in this context
simply means "noncommerical"...ha ,i wish that was
funny but its just true. IDM is ,in and of itself ,no
more intelligent than BoyBand pop music. it can be
done well or badly ,depending on the artist ,and many
of those ,it seems ,just want to fit in with the new
sounds and plugins and things...when of course the
real excitement in this genre was that it was a new
mode of art ,new possibility for expression. not a
goddamn gearhead revolution.
