orbital's brown album. i was visiting colleges, and i was sick as a dog
(which eventually turned out to be mono, but anyway). this guy i was
staying with at lawrence college in appleton, WI had an insane stereo
system, and i just sat there between his speakers sucking on cough drops
and zoning out to lush and impact. the whole time i was thinking "i KNEW
there was music like this out there, and now i've finally found it!" it
changed my entire perspective on music.
