i have to agree with robert here. this comp is boring. it's like everyone's
just giving a half-ass effort or they gave a song they made a while ago.
either way, i'm not feeling it. i know these artists can do so much
better....i've heard it before...and that's one of the reasons why i don't
understand why people are loving this shit so much. i think, maybe, it's
because people don't know their rap and this sound is somewhat new to them
or people just want to jock this because of the name's involved and it's
'cool' to like this...i don't know. i do know that this is one of the
biggest disappointments. the best thing about it is the art &
packaging....but that can only go so far...you know.
i do have a recommendation for some good rap music though. maybe the best
rap album this year: BUSDRIVER -temporary forever. this is a must have.
blows all that other shit out of the water. you can also get any of the
artists on that comp's solo shit...but that comp sucks...you'd be wasting
your money & time.
k, enough of my negativity. i never really say anything...cause who am i to
talk shit....but i figured i had something to say with this one.
peace
