Let's say you've moved past not reading my emails to the list. Let's say you're looking for the next step after never responding to the emails I send directly to you. Yeah, I know, it's real hard to hit Ctrl-R and type a few lines, maybe even something to the effect of "Hime, I'm not ignoring you, I'm mad at you because you were destitute two years ago." *cough* Anyway, enough with my lack of professionalism, I'm onto a new lack of professionalism. Yes, more wholly unprofessional radio. 20 minute talk stops. IDM school lessons for the unwashed. Things only Tom and I think are funny. Well, Tom, Janice, and I. WHAT?!: Radio ClusterFuck! When: Saturday, August 24th from 10pm Central US time to 6am. If the radio engineer for the station asks, We're shutting down at 2am. SHHH!! Why: To hear music that is probably better than what you hear on the radio normally. Because radio is fun, it opens you up to new things and has high finite possibilities. It can be better than picking from the same damn CDs in your backpack. Warning: IDM listers may find themselves exposed to non-IDM music including indie rock and even pop. They may also discover that Texas music (not the tired Steve Ray Vaughn/Pat Green bullshit) is really fucking good. Who: Tom Urquhart from The Good Show (www.goodshow.net), Janice from Sputnik, and Andrew Hime of Sonic Therapy (non)fame. How: If you're within 20 minutes of Fort Worth, TX - 88.7 fm. If you're not, http://www.ktcu.tcu.edu - they stream online. Yes, still. And it's a low bandwidth stream, so no complaining that you're on a modem. If you're broadband, no complaining that it sounds like crap. Work with me here. Do you remember the first time? Do you remember the last time it felt good? Well, maybe we can help. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
