I heard most DJs get their start as plumbers. Uh, and I can DJ mp3s for myself at home, I think that was the point. With the right equipment you can also make laptop music for yourself at home. The nature of the PERFORMANCE is what you PAY MONEY to SEE. If I rented a big PA system, video mixer + projector, and paid two skinny guys with brown hair to sit behind a rack of gear with a computer, I could charge most of the people on this list $15 a pop to see any number of IDM acts. And rave about it later. Just load the laptop with the appropriate tracks and fade between a few screensavers for visual counterpoint. Maybe I shouldn't have told you all that.

Uh, digital photography? From the planet where? With what kind of cheese? Why does everybody on this list think that all they have to do to win an argument is label the opposition as reactionary?
