friend of mine and i were discussing how there's so many creative brilliant
things like throbbing gristle and negativland and such but often those
artists are more focused on words, social commentary, presenting pieces of
art/music for historical or contextual reasons, etc -- wouldn't it be great
if the hypertechnical autechres and richard devines met each halfway and
you got something with a little more 'context' around it.
black dog recently did that series of 'conspiracy tapes' which is a dead on
perfect example of this concept too
