I agree.. A lot of what I've heard in demo's and promo's from people - it all sounds like people are wannabes... 'I'm the next AE because I use similar processed noises.....' People should ignore what is current and create new sounds... we have the technology ($6m dollar bloke) so why not be inventive? In ambient music, the complexity of sounds is creating new sonic possibilities, so why not IDM?
