hoi
its been awhile , sorry to be out of touch etc. this summer
will see loads of activity, and since we don't have spring anymore
summer starts early now and never ends, there will be ceaseless
action. sincerely, noah.
and here's an update -
1) one week tour of octopus inc & colongib starts yesterday
here are the dates -
7/6 - Big Orbit Soundlab in Buffalo, NY ** you missed it
7/7 - Analog Shock Records in Rochester, NY (still time!)
7/8 - The Fuze Box at 12 Central Ave in Albany, NY
7/9 - Berwick Institute in Boston, MA
7/10 - AS220 in Providence, RI
7/11 - Subtonic in Manhattan, NYC, NY
7/12 - The Local in Brooklyn, NYC, NY
7/13 - The Rotunda in Philadelphia, PA
we'll be playing with xanopticon and girltalk and manherringbone.
soooo, come out and say whats up. or if you can't come to that
because you're too busy watching the powerpuff girls movie, maybe you
can make it to our show in japan on august 10th! we'll be appearing
at 'warszawa might' at star pine's cafe, kichijoji, tokyo.
2) even though he is organizing the tokyo concert, our good friend
haruo ishihara still has time to release a sequel to the long
unavailable pacman|colongib cd. pacgib2 will be available in august
and along with our favorites from the original pacgib it will have
tunes from the first pacman and colongib albums AND an excellent
unreleased collaborative effort called Farm Plant. this will be
coming out on haruo's label Obtain Freedom, check them out at
www.obtainfreedom.net.
3) octopus/colongib 12" is out in the world being duplicated for
yall. look for it at the end of this month or the beginning of
august. there will be a CD release of this one shortly after the
record is out.
4) misc - um, what else. check us out in the new xlr8r and grooves
and vice, there are reviews or props in those. at www.notype.com ,
there will be a free octopus inc EP thing with some fuckin weird
tracks that make you be high. im not sure when it will be there, but
we'll let you know.

6) you can download a colongib song made with a gameboy tracker from
our mp3 download page now. its not made by nanoloop and it's not on
that nanoloop compilation BUT it's really good and you'll wish you
were playing a gameboy game like metroid but with larger aliens and
stranger weapons that turn the enemies into cookies and beats.
7) send us demos, the addresses are on the webpage
8) reimer's Neo Ouija album is out. it's called Kettel - Smiling
Little Cow. You'll have to buy it..
