The "2 Many DJ's" comp on PIAS is a fantastic compilation of mashup
style boots and other amazing trans-genre party freakouts. It's
compiled by the DJs of Radio Soulwax which I believe are the guys who
broke the whole mashup/bootleg scene wide open last year. Absolutely
a masterpiece. What's even more amazing is the fact that they got all
the samples cleared.
Highlights:
Destiny's Child + 10cc
Skee-lo + Breeders
Detroit Grand Pubahs + New Order
It's all done with a ton more style and pizzaz than most of the
bootlegs out there, these guys obviously put a crazy amount of work
into it. Well worth the import price.
