i'm pretty happy with my delta 44.

you can get it for cheaper than the price they suggest.
it even supports linux, if you happen to swing that way...
the Echo Gina (i think) is also a good choice, though it made my friend's
win2000 system spontaneously reboot every now and again... you could
probably pick up the older, 20bit version on ebay for not way too much.
