A little bit of kitsch goes a long way. You should move out here to the
Bay Area - they have club nights set up all over the city dedicated to
yesterday's bad music. It's fun to a degree, but it gets a little
frustrating when that's the only thing to do. Kinda reminds me of this
thread, actually.
I'm not sure how old you are, but I remember when this crap was being
played non-stop on the radio, and I hated it just as much then.
