live news:

joeyfat + epic45 + alex tucker (of unhome) + one more band t.b.c. +
awkward_silence (dj set)...
yes, 'another afternoon of awkward silence' has been confirmed:
it will again be in association with the lovely folks at rough trade / RoTa
and will be held at the notting hill arts club, 21 notting hill gate,
london, england.
it will start at 4:00pm and go on until 8:00pm and will be totally free to
get in!
we're very pleased to announce that this show will include live appearances
from: "probably the most written about band never to sign a record
contract" - the renowned early '90s slunchcore quintet joeyfat (who will be
releasing a single with us later this year) + stafford's finest purveyors
of quiet / loud / quietness epic45, as well as lo-fi globetrotting
collaborator extraordinaire alex tucker (of unhome) - just back from
chicago, as well as someone going by the name of awkward_silence (dj set),
amongst others... (there's one more band to be confirmed).
there will also be an awkward silence goodie bag for the first 50 or so
folks through the door, which will include some exclusive previously
unreleased music from the artists involved and possibly some other bits and
pieces...

also be sent out to you all nearer the time.

once again it's totally free to get in and drinks will be cheap too as

awkward silence t-shirts...
as a few people have been asking if there are any plans for an awkward
silence t-shirt (and because some folks have been threatening to make their
own!), you'll be pleased to hear that some t-shirts have now been designed
and should be available at our gig on may 25th and then by mail order in
early june.
it will be a strictly limited edition release of around 50 only in various
sizes.

the artwork for the two new 7"s mentioned above. if that isn't exciting
