Here are the April news concerning the Ad Noiseam label, for immediate
release.
1. April release.
Ammo / Szkieve: "Terra Amata / Perturbacée"
Released on April 18th, this item is a split between Ammo and Szkieve on a
picture 12" record.
Ammo is C-Drik and John Sellekaers, also members of Xingu Hill, Ambre, Dead
Hollywood Stars, and Moonsando, among others. Szkieve is Dimitri Della
Faille, the manager of the Hushush label. Each of them play here with calm
drones, orchestral music and samples, offering an emotional and powerful
release. This disc is limited to 450 copies.
2. June releases.
To be released in the middle of June are:
-Wilt - Radio 1940 (double CD)
-Xenonics K-30 - Automated (CD)
Wilt, whose previous album "Amidst a spacious fabric", now sold out, was Ad
Noiseam's first CD release, comes back a year later with his most ambitious
work to date, the double CD album "Radio 1940", an experiment with
accoustic and electronic sounds that will surprise a lot of listeners.
Ample and original, this is a very diverse piece of art that marks a new
evolution for both Wilt and Ad Noiseam. This album will come in a double
digipack designed by Ben Didier.
Xenonics K-30 is a common project of Scott Sturgis and Leech (Navicon
Torture Technologies), the soundtrack for an apocalyptic scene full of
noise, scraping metal and piercing frequencies. Xenonics K-30 brings the
noise back in Ad Noiseam, bring together the talent of these two musicians
and summon and massive, dense and opaque recording.
3. Later releases.
Ad Noiseam is pleased to announce the release of four acts new to the label
for the second half of the year: Cdatakill, Cordell Klier, Mago and
Magwheels.
After releases on Cfet, Zhark, Suburban Trash and Eupholus, Cdatakill (also
known as Cassandra Datakill) will have his first full length CD album on Ad
Noiseam. Somewhere between broken beats, heavy atmospheres and noise,
Cdatakill is the perfect hybrid between the new sensibilities of broken
hardcore and the heaviness of industrial music. With this full length CD,
Cdatakill will have the opportunity to demonstrate his ability and
diversity as never before.
Cordell Klier, the multi talented artist also behind Kreptkrept and
Monstrare, as well as behind the Doctsect label, will also have his first
full length album on Ad Noiseam. With this CD, called "Apparitions",
Cordell explores yet a new style, a new music made of microscopic clicks,
breaks and cuts, of subtle beats and melodies, in a truely innovative and
fresh way.
Mago is Jan Carleklev and Palle, also playing in Sanctum, Azure Skies and
November Commandement. This project is their most electronic oriented one,
in which beats and complex structure take the place of strings and
distortion. Still very moving and soulfull, flowing and emotional, Mago is
one of a kind, and an act that is sure to gather quite a strong following.
Magwheels is the fourth new act on Ad Noiseam. After two much underrated
albums, this one man project from America will deliver once more his deep
drones and post rock guitars, his deep nostalgia and original touch. The
past two albums set Magwheels as one of tomorrow's great ones, and the CD
to come on Ad Noiseam will reveal the depths and emotions of this project
that walks his own path to recognition.
4. Other news.
-Tarmvred is currently working on three new releases. The first one is a
12" record of Tarmvred injecting heaviness into electro. The second one
will be a collaboration with the famous Ah Cama-Sotz, also to be released
on 12". Finally, the third will be a collaboration with Canada's
Iszoloscope, to be released on the Spectre label.
-Tarmvred has remixed a track by Mlada Fronta that will appear on this
band's forthcoming releases, "Oxydes". Tarmvred and Needle Sharing have
remixed Kreptkrept (a project of Cordell Klier) for his forthcoming album
on Frozen Empire Media.
