Rawkin. Thanks.
Scorn, Godflesh and Einsturzende Neubauten is what got me into electronic
music. I used to hate it with a passion. I was all about Grind/Punk
Rock/Hardcore stuff.
Any of you industrial heads into Neubauten? I saw them on their Silence is
Sexy tour in LA last year. It was an awesome show. For one of their songs
they brought out a jet engine onto the stage. Amazing stuff. They've gotten
a bit mellow with age, but you can always count on them to bust out some
crazy shit.
Um, what was I talking about?

Jason,
also into scorn very much here...the other guy was nik bullen from the
original napalm death line up with justin broadrick. with gyral harris
continued
alone (i.m.o. the best scorn)
there's a best of of sorts of godflesh called "in all languages" which has
the incredible and rare "love is a dog from hell" on it - a must-have. the
seminal "streetcleaner" is what they're known for. personal favorite is
"merciless". us & them has some real godzilla-tramples-tokyo-tracks that are
definitely worth it. "perfect skin dub" on the "slavestate" is a beautifully
cold
piece of music pleasantly devoid of any human presence...
