eh, screw the 'female perspective'. the only difference
between being a male idm fan and a female idm fan is that
whenever i post here, i get a few 'ooh, you're a girl' emails.
it's kind of like being on usenet before 1994 or so.
i like idm. so does everyone else who posts to this list.
i have a hard time seeing why being female would really
have a lot of impact on my appreciation of idm. i like
crunchy, melodic stuff. i don't care if the people
making it are male or female. i like to go to shows, and
drool over the gear. mmmm, gear. i like to mix idm and downtempo
music together. this isn't a 'female' perspective, it's
a perspective.
