Emperor is pretty damn hot, what with the ritual murders and all. But these days I'm a little more fascinated by Mortiis, whose lead singer has had prostheses attached to his nose and ears to make him even more dark. Here are some desktop pictures. I've got one on my powerbook. http://mortiis.neverland.nu/bonus/wallpapers.asp As far as bullshit classical is concerned, you want "Black Aria" by Glenn Danzig. Some of the worst modern "classical" "music" ever recorded, by the king himself. For your prog needs, may I humbly recommend you check out Gentle Giant's "The Missing Piece". Also anybody on this list who hasn't yet taken a listen to Pyromania by Def Leppard is missing out on some serious clues to the new directions Autechre will be taking on their next release. Mutt Lange producing.
