Don't know about the name being different, but everything Behringer makes is a knock-off of another company's product. These guys are famous for basically ripping off the circuitry and designs from other manufacturers and slapping their name on it, often less subtly than one would expect....stories abound of people opening up Behringer gear and seeing "Mackie" or "Lexicon" stamped on some of the parts....and then there are the lawsuits.....
