WERNER DURAND: The art of buzzing
Podwil is a culture centre in Berlin. They give progressive artists and art forms a podium to bring out their music and a frame to work in. X-tract is the label that is found by Podwil to give, artist who do something with sound, a larger means to promote their music.
A label where they can put out their unconventional stuff. The do not focus themselves on one genre but in the future you may expect noise, experimental electronic, Stockhausen, etc as sound-art.

It is fogy music for bright, confused minds. Very intrigued and tasty guitar music on Fat Cat
JAMES ECK RIPPIE/ COLIN A. SHEFFIELD: Variations
Tree live recorded improvisation pieces with James Eck Rippie on turntable and guitar and minimalist Colin A. Sheffield juggles with the sampler. Each piece have an own central instrument; "variations for harp", "variations for guitar" en "variations for flute".
V/A: Electric light - Comlun one remixed
Column one surprised use already with their Electric Pleasure CD with by the vocodor manipulated voices and could rhythmic electronic that refers to Kraftwerk. This CD joins well with his predecessor. (Remixes from Rechenzentrum , Mimetic Fake (=Jérôme Soudan also known as Von Magnet), Ditterich von Euler-Donnersperg (does also the label, Walter-Ulbricht-Schallfolien that released the first records from SPK, Throbbing Gristle, etc.) )
MOLR DRAMMAZ: Boazeria [Higherlowerslowerfaster]
The songs are a mix from sounds, foggy electronic, loops, beats, acoustic pieces. combination from improvisation and pop. Avant-garde pop for freaks.
KNUT REMOND: Deep structure, cosmics vol. 3 (1995-2000)
Deep Structures is the third part in the "cosmics" project from Knut Remond, with the soprano Kornelia Bruggmann. She brings texts from the American writer Jenny Holzer.
