Kinda off-topic but a shoe-gazery album that's worth trying to track down is
Lucievacarme's only album on French label Lithium. I'm sure it's been out of
print for a long time, but it really kicks ass. I once found a copy for 25
cents at Rasputin's in Berkeley, so it is *possible*. Their first EP with
a cover of Dinosaur Jr's "Freakscene" is nice as well. How's that for lesser-
known? Oh, and of course, everything up to (and including) Ride's first album.
It's very spotty afterwards.
