I wasn't aware that B.F.B. [the only criticism I've
ever encountered] were the official voice of
Tigerbeat6. In fact, I don't recall
Katrinatb6@aol.com ever bustin' on the idm list. This
is like saying that prefuse73 shouldn't be discussed
on the idm list because Max Tundra said some nasty
things about boards of canada, and being that they are
all on warp, jesus! NO MORE WARP NEWS!!!
===and so this post of mine has *some* actual value===
About tb6: what are some of the highlights of their
past two years. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a
hardcore elco. follower, but beyond that. I wasn't
impressed with Lesser's Mensa Dance Squad - that is,
in the context of his past work. I really like his VC
stuff and thus really dig the idea of his mp3cdr.
I'm not too crazy about their $ releases.
Everything Cex puts out is enjoyable as far as I'm
concerned. TB6, Inc 2x was a slightly above average
comp. Dat Politics - Tracto Flirt really hit home
with me personally.
Oh, Kid606's only really good albums, as far as I'm
concerned, are Down with the Scene and PS I Love You,
the second taking a bit of time to grow on me.
