'hi,
i once was got into cologne techno by a friend. it was very good stuff,
some of the names i can remember are biochip c, dr. walker, mike inc, air
liquide, but then some of it was detroit techno as well, like ectomorph, the
aloof, drexciya, morgan geist, and some smaller names i can't remember. all
in all these artists comprised a sort of genre of their own, when
comglomerated on a cassette. anyway, i've lost all the cassettes, so does
anyone have a starting or reference point for "cologne techno"? i'd be
interested in the smaller names, but the bigger ones are fine as well. what
is the history of this movement?
