quoted 1 line I don't think V.Snares is the next big thing.> I don't think V.Snares is the next big thing.
A) I don't like his work (I just don't like gabber or
hardcore stuff in general, really).
Can't argue on that. Its a matter of opinion.
On to B:
B) he's too difficult for the masses.
Well I don't know about that, People have gone pretty
ga-ga about Autechre and Kid 606 and I don't really
think that venetian snares is any less accessable
than either of them. I also, see him being able to
pull in a bit of a metal audience, who is looking for
something extreme.
C) There won't be a "next
quoted 4 lines big thing". There are no more "next big things". IDM> big thing". There are no more "next big things". IDM

I agree with you that everything is in a
"psychosocial architecturalstructurehumpingclusterfuck disarray"
But @ the same time, I can still see artists popping up
and being elevated to a higher plane of status within that context.
There will always be a flavor of the week, its just the nature
of things. I'm not saying that this is nescessarilly a bad thing,
its just the way things are.
I'm not really looking for the next big thing myself, I'm just
looking for something that will knock me over....something
that the latest batch of demos I've gotten in hasn't done.
