A) I don't like his work (I just don't like gabber or hardcore stuff in general, really). Can't argue on that. Its a matter of opinion. On to B: B) he's too difficult for the masses. Well I don't know about that, People have gone pretty ga-ga about Autechre and Kid 606 and I don't really think that venetian snares is any less accessable than either of them. I also, see him being able to pull in a bit of a metal audience, who is looking for something extreme. C) There won't be a "next

I agree with you that everything is in a "psychosocial architecturalstructurehumpingclusterfuck disarray" But @ the same time, I can still see artists popping up and being elevated to a higher plane of status within that context. There will always be a flavor of the week, its just the nature of things. I'm not saying that this is nescessarilly a bad thing, its just the way things are. I'm not really looking for the next big thing myself, I'm just looking for something that will knock me over....something that the latest batch of demos I've gotten in hasn't done.
