Now i remember it was "Risk" , great video ,some installation , pastel colors , when bass got louder the picture was blurring , i think it is one of the greatest "idm video"
ever seen .
As for the tv prog - it was THE GREAT "WAH2" on "VIVA 2" .
This channel was suspended from the beginning of the year 2002 , it`s so sad.
They had few interesting shows. I remember there was "WAH2" with:
-Chris Cunningham -possibly all of his videos : 2xAphex Twin , Squarepusher , Autechre , Bjork , The Auters , Jesus Jones , Placebo ...i think that all...
-Aphex Twin - few of his videos , few "ersatz videos" for tracks that didn`t have videos : one from "2 remixes by AFX" , Cymrubeats and another one , i can`t remember the name
but the video was from NIN , it actually fit very well to that track.
-Mouse on Mars , videos from MOM , Microstoria (great "Kontra") , fx randomiz ("Stack") , Scratch pet land , Lithops (from "Didot")...
-2 shows with Sonar Festival in Barcelona , fragments of live shows from Curd Duca , Vladislav Delay (as himself and as Luomo) , Techno Animal , SND , Plaid , Twerk and
others...
-Merzbow and Zbigniew Karkowski , both alone and in duo "MAZK" ...that was difficult experience for my speakers...
-and many more , but they were sometimes playing videos from : Jan Jelinek "Do Dekor" , Pan Sonic "Urania" , Microstoria "Kontra" , Plaid "Eyen" , Jake Mandell - can`t remember
the name , Oval "Textuell" , Flanger "Options in the fire" , Amon Tobin "Slowly" & "4 Ton Mantis" , few videos from Phoneheads , Makai , nearly all of MOM`s videos , Pluramon
"Flicker rmx by Sensorama" & "Hintergrunt rmx by Mogwai" , Tortoise "Dear Grandma & Grandpa" , "4 Day Interval" , "Seneca" , to rococco rot "Telema" and one from "Music is a
hungry ghost"...& of course many more
Also there was "Electronic Beats" , also nice show , it featured : Sonar Festival , fragments of a live by Senor Coconut , Richard Devine , Jake Mandell and so on.
But this show is currently available for watching on VIVA (one) , few days ago i saw Pan Sonic "Endless" (with Alan Vega - earlier i thought that vocals and PanSonic can`t fit
together but in this track {i hope that also in other tracks}it sounded great , like humming ...very nice indeed)
