Mmmmmm... Ninja Tune... Mmmmmmmmmmmm
Ninja Tune breathes funk. I mean, they have Amon Tobin fer
chrissakes! You should, however, look for some reviews, as some Ninja Tune
stuff is much too funky for your average IDM-er.
You should also look into the [unfortunately] recently defunct Red Snapper,
on Warp.
For more glitchy stuff, there's the infamous "tried by 12" remixes on
chocolate industries, and from there you can look into Push Button Objects,
who creates quite a bit of "post hop" stuff.
If you're also looking for some post hop with rapping, there's Aesop Rock
(who has a track with MF Doom on the Prefuse 73 album) who creates some
pretty good stuff, especially his collaborations with Percee P.
If you're able to find them, the Tino's Breaks EP's are very yummy and funky :D
I'll have to defer to the rest of the list here, though, as I've only seen
him live, but are Cex's records pretty funky? His live show sure
was. He's on TB6. He's from north of where you live, in Baltimore. You
should go play dodgeball with him.
