I dont know how much that pocket dial costs....and it sounds like all your running is a bunch of software.....SO, if you're in a very tight budget....and you more than likely dont have a MIDI interface.....Get this.... MIDIMAN OXYGEN 8 - Gives you hands-on control of any eight MIDI-assignable parameters within your favorite software programs. It speaks directly with your computer without any extra devices or even a MIDI interface. It features eight MIDI assignable knobs, one assignable slider, and a 25-key controller keyboard. It inputs and outputs sixteen channels of MIDI to the computer via its USB port. Powered by USB port, six AA batteries, or included power supply. Features: Allows you to get more out of your software programs Gives you more freedom on stage Eight MIDI assignable knobs and one assignable slider Sends and receives sixteen channels of MIDI via USB port Fully functional, 25-key MIDI keyboard capable of sending all MIDI messages Can be powered by USB port, the included power supply, or by six AA batteries for full portability ______ This would be a very wise buy....I would highly recommend it....I dont own one, but I was thinking of getting one for my vocal booth to control the vocal processors and my vocoder etc. etc., from inside the booth .....But for me, I need there to be an actual MIDI IN/OUT port not just on USB port, this is only because I have a couple Emagic AMT8's running my MIDI gear, and I dont want to risk conflicts with the USB devises.....Im sure it actually wouldn't be very likely, but there are similar items that may better suit my desire.... Anyways, back to you.....This is what you should buy in a tight budget....hands down. and its only $139.00!!! here is a link http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=020212145623206131149011464814/search/g=home/detail/base_id/57349 HOPE THIS WAS HELP. xh. --- c | s <w111cms@hotmail.com> wrote:
