Check out the recent recording of Rachmaninov's "Piano Concerto No.2" with
Helene Grimaud as pianist, conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy and the
Philharmonia Orchestra. Absolutely blinding. (And she's a bit of a babe
too!)

Obviously not as minimalist/wonky as the Chris Clark/Aphex stuff, but this
is where I ended up after being inspired by pretty much the say IDM-ish
piano stuff as you, so you may get as much a kick out of it as I do! It's
really deepened my appreciation of classical music too -- as a result of
getting into all these piano concertos, I've been exploring other stuff
too -- currently edging my way into choral stuff.
