I spin off of cdjs. I used to prefer vinyl, but after about 6 months I sold
my turntables and vinyl and now spin only CDs. I have the pioneer cdj 700s.
I played on most of the other major types of cdjs out there and feel that
the 700s are really the best ones by far. However, Pioneer has released the
1000s, and apparently they are quite amazing. Supposedly you can even
scratch with them. As far as purchases go, if you have the money I recommend
picking up the 700s, the DJM 500 or 600 mixer and the carrying case. This is
the best way to go economically because most dealers will give you a major
discount on the whole setup. If you look hard enough you should be able to
find the whole kit for under 2k.
Send me a mail privately and let me know what questions you have exactly and
I would be happy to answer them for you.
