In regards to Fischerspooner, yeah, at first glance its all throwback stuff
with added visualization.... but after buying and listening to their album,
I found their production quality to be extremely high and the tracks very
entertaining. I cannot wait to see their show.
John Selway is coming to town soon, he released 'Emerge' on his Serotonin
label... I hope to get a chance to talk to him about the NY electro/nu-wave
scene.

Jay Lesser, The Blechdoms, Electric Company, lexaunculpt, E-rock and E-vax,
Centuries are a wierd performance electro-type thing here in NYC, but they
aren't know very widely yet, f'n great!. As for hype, etc. There's a sort
of performance collective called Fischerspooner. I think you'd be
hardpressed to find a more extravagant performance, wind machines, dancers,
wild costumes and make up, but they're music sounds exactly like bad new
wave (with little reinterpretation). They easily have the best show- but
that's all there is!
