if you're looking for some subtle minimalism, then check out his whole
production under
the plastikman-moniker: records like artifakts (bc), consumed and musik
are true masterpieces.
hawtin has also done a three-album series of ambient recordings with
pete namlook, and i personally
love that stuff. it's called 'from within' and it's out on FAX / minus.
richie's de9-albums are also worth to check out. imo the newest 'de9:
closer to the edit' album is better than the first, since it's got much
more groove and funk to it.
