Here on the south side of the globe it's summer holidays, and I've
been bush-bashing through our glorious country with my two
offspring in the backseat. Laura is almost 13 and Christy (he's a
boy) is coming on for 10.
For the journey, I made a few compilations, and this is what proved
most popular:
Wamdue's King of my Castle (can we have that again, Mummy?)
Dido - Hunter (that's for Laura)
Offspring - Pretty Fly (my son's choice, uh...)
Jamiroquai (anything and everything)
Vintage Depeche Mode (Master & Servant era stuff, GREAT car
music!)
Adult (in small doses)
Daft Punk
Bob Marley
Manu Chao
These did NOT go down, and had to be skipped:
Circulation - the colours stuff (too long)
Aphex's Windowlicker
Luomo
Anything acid-jazzy (too noodly, gets lost in the bump 'n grind,
maybe?)
