The track 'Subnubus' from Mouse on Mars features as backgroundmusic for the documentary 'Killing Time', a very cool Noorderlicht episode. Noorderlicht (Northern Lights) is a dutch science program. There are other nice tracks used in this episode too, as well as some ultracool audio/videoFX, which match the program's subject quite well. (halfway for instance: audio-processing a la Autechre's interview on the WARP Radio Mix CD) 'Killing Time' is in English most of the time *and* available in high bandwidth realvideo so maybe interesting for those of you interested in science. http://noorderlicht.vpro.nl/rmstreams.db?3250278 The subject is Julian Barbour's theory that time does not exist, only timeless nows. Julian Barbour is convinced that we experience the most probable nows as individual instants of time. The appearance of motion and a flow of time are both illusions created by very special structure of the instants that we experience. A theory consistent with quantum mechanics.
