2-step as listening music, is in general, disappointing. Like drum&bass, or
techno for that matter, it's best in its intended setting -- in a club, played
by a skilled dj. It's unfair to judge music that is purpose built for one
context when it doesn't stand up in another. Well you can, but no one
complains when their snowblower doesn't rake leaves very well.
