For the IDM/electronic/soundscapes/Jazzy grooves/......fans I can recommend the Attention Industries release on Heimelektro ulm with Patricia Oakley. Cool and very good new releases on the Acuarela label (Spain) with more melancholic indie rock music. And two older releases from Norway. Racing Junior is the label and Kris told me that they have some MotorPsycho connections. So hope you like it, until next time.

Attention Industries Meets Patricia Oakley (released in 01/2002)
A charming CD which give shape to a large range of influences. Above all a relaxing CD, very pleasant listening to it, smooth but still interesting. And mostly are those two things, which goes not good together with many artists. I can recommend this CD for people who like The Beige Oscillator & DJ Attaché.

Nacho Vega made dark listening songs in the best singer songwriter tradition where the guitar melody is the starting points.Aroah goes further there where her debut mini CD stops, and brings three fragile indie rock songs with a waft sadness.

Viva Las Vegas are José Luis Aguado and Frank Rudow from Manta Ray, one of the biggest in the Spanish indepentend scene. They have toured together with Come and so the idea for a split CD was born.

You can not around it Thomas voice is very similar to those from Neil Young. And also the songs are in the best acoustic Young (Harvest) tradition.

All very poppy and very recognisable, not bad done but a bit to “retro” for me. For lovers of POP music with a bit more.
