Another way of looking at the points you have made:
They are increally inspired by bring retro '80s-futuristic funky to house
music, incredibly catchy, and the vocoders are used to further their unique
aesthetic.. ...
So, indeed, I agree, see my other post--taste is just something one
shouldn't discuss about.
