McCartney did do two "electronic" albums under the pseudonym the Fireman.

Harrison's '60s-guitar peer Eric Clapton, for what it's worth, also did a
pseudonym/electronic thing, recording as X-Sample. I don't think the
McCartney records had a Lennon sample on them, but I'm not certain.
