"Plastiphilia," in particular, always gets me revved up in the morning.
Sometimes it strikes me as a subtle commentary on the objectification of
women, a tip of the hat to Kraftwerk's "Showroom Dummies." But usually I just
rock out to its unadulterated electro simplicity, its consummation of
post-ironic Detroit ultramodernism. I guess that goes for everything by
Dopplereffekt.
And don't worry, I'm being ironic when I use terms like "post-ironic." I
think.
