If you haven't heard, Kid606 is opening for the Butthole Surfers and I saw
them last night in Portland. He put on what I thought was a great show,
but the best part was the crowd reaction. Most of these people, from
overhearing their conversations, didn't listen to any type of electronic
music at all, so Kid606 was a bit of a shock. One person yelled "FUCK
YOU" very early in the set, but most clapped politely when it was over.
But then my favorite conversation was overheard a few minutes later.
"Did you see Kid606, that guy that opened?"
"Yeah, I didn't really like him."
"That guy fucking SUCKED. He fucking shitted all over Ozzy, man!"
