fennesz - endless summer has been my absolute favorite (and most surprising after hearing some previous work by fennesz) release of the year. it reminds me a lot of when i first heard oval - 94 diskont. had that strange off-kilter melodious, warm organized-chaos type of feel to it. but fennesz reaches a whole new level. much more sublime, nice flowing melodies and enough glitches and extreme effects processing to keep you actively listening why cant there be more like this??
