the second one is "White Horse" by Laid Back - the b-side to an otherwise
forgettable single called "Sunshine Reggae" or something like that. it
was a huge international chart smash etc. in 1983 or so. I just picked up
a copy recently in order to confound the dancefloor when lo, I notice that
it's just been reissued on a 12" with some other electro-pop gem on the
flip.. saw it at bi-wire or pelicanneck. the original 12" shouldn't be
too hard to track down either - reckless records here in chicago had a
copy for $6.99 I think.
