The big thing about this album (and it's a longtime favourite of mine) for me is that it was the result of discussions between Eno, Byrne and Jon Hassell except that Eno and Byrne went ahead and recorded the album without consulting Hassell - the album might have been even more amazing if he'd been involved. Hassell and Eno are firm friends but he's apparently still angry about this. One thing that's a shame is the cd mastering makes the sound fairly thin. All the best, Colin.
