Rotterdamn is a lovely town -- home of Clone Records (http://www.clone.nl) Actually on the same street (Nieuwe Binnenweg) with Clone are several record stores of all sorts. Amsterdam is very intense and touristy -- depending on what you're looking for it's worth checking out other towns. It's a very compact country, so side trips by train and tram are quite do-able. If you don't yet have a place to stay in Amsterdam, I really recommend the City Hostel Vondelpark (http://www.njhc.org/english/hb_entree.cfm?hb_id=3) It's near a tram line, and faces the Vondelpark which is beautiful. Walking distance to Museums and clubs, and outside the main touristy neighborhoods. It's near Global Chillage too (http://www.globalchillage.com) which was my favorite coffee shop. Not only because of the music and vibe and err refreshments, but because it's right across from a laundromat. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
