The most recent thing from Basic Channel is their heavenly remix of
Carl Craig's 'The Climax' on the recently re-released & remastered
'The Climax' 12" on Planet E. It's a fabulous 13+ minute remix but I
think it's a vinyl-only release. In basic-channel related news, there
are also two new Burial Mix 10"s released last month, a new Rhythm &
Sound 12" coming out in a few weeks, and (THANKFULLY) a Rhythm &
Sound compilation cd due out soon. I too would love some new Basic
Channel releases with my dream release being a record of nothing but
dubby BC/CR/M/BM/R&S lock grooves. I would sit and listen to those
forever! : )
