but, if we just completely annhilate their asses, there won't be anyone left to form a terror network. Why is it our responsibility to remove all injustice from the world? Why shouldn't we just focus on improving our own lives? Why should we care about making the world a better place for insane millitant islamic fucks? Why not just nuke their asses? We aren't going to just bow down to the world and say "OOPS! capitalism doesn't work and now we have seen the light. thanks oh millitant islamic assholes for showing us the true way." So, the only other option is to protect ourselves and prevent this from ever happening again, and if that means vaporizing our enemies then why not? They have no respect for our lives, why should we give one iota of concern for theirs? They are to be compared to a contamination with lead of our gasoline supply. That's all they are. We have the power to remove the contamination. Why shouldn't we? I swear, up until last week I was a liberal lefty commie pinko and my favorite people on earth were Carl Marx and Noam Chomsky. Now, I am just like "screw this bullshit, we need to take control and get rid of those who don't cooperate." Maybe my anger will die with time. Maybe it is just impossible to get rid of all of our enemies and so we need to learn to play more fairly. But to me, this attack obviously just seems like they were jealous of our prosperity and want to make us pay. Also, for those who cite Sweden or the Netherlands or some other tiny isolated village as an example of a more ideal form of government than ours in the US. I am not interested in solutions that only work for a tiny bunch of aristocratic snobbish fucks. The US has brought an averagely higher quality of life to the greatest number of people than any other regime on earth. Also, it has been human nature for probably over 50,000 years that might makes right. Whether or not this fits in with your idealistic vision of ethics, it is the law of nature and always will be. If we are to make any progress as a species towards a sustainable world government at peace, we may need to get rid of incompatible cultural elements.
