Ah, but what made them determined to die in the first place?
they were determined to die for a cause and that is not cowardly.

But this was not a case of (for examples sake) a suburban man
who just loses his mind and guns down his family before killing himself.
These people killed themselves for a reason, remember that fact,
they had a prior motive, they did not just kill themselves because they just
were mad.
I am not saying that i approve of their actions,
but they did it because they obviously felt very strongly
about certain injustices/treatment against them.
